Detailed Description

Inspired by the spicy aromas of cardamom-flavoured coffee, Thierry Wasser, Guerlain Master Perfumer, beautifully enhances the contrasts of precious spices in a fragrant chiaroscuro that awakens the senses.
Cardamom reveals the exhilarating elegance of its fresh facets on contact with a warm, full-bodied and sensual base, tinged with black pepper and woody notes of oud, patchouli and sandalwood.

Contrasting spice.

This unexpectedly bewitching play on olfactory opposites combines warm spices such as black pepper with cool ones, including cardamom and pink peppercorn.

Warm and precious wood.

Together, sandalwood, oud and patchouli, perfumery’s noblest raw materials, give this woody fragrance a fiery, sensual base.

To further its commitment to the environment, Guerlain has partnered with the non-profit organisation, UEBT (Union for Ethical BioTrade), to certify its supply chains by 2026. Meaning that each of Guerlain’s 40 most prominent supply chains are verified, and improvement plans developed so that alongside each and every supplier and producer Guerlain can go even further in its sourcing ethical, ecologically-friendly, natural materials.
