Drawing upon the emblematic notes and the spellbinding yet bold aesthetic of this world that shares so much with perfumery, this fragrance is crafted from an exceptional selection of highly concentrated ingredients to create a scent of unparalleled seduction.

LEGENDARY, INTENSE, PASSIONATE

As the first amber fragrance to be created for men, Habit Rouge was inspired by equestrianism, the pastime that was dear to its creator, Jean-Paul Guerlain.
First released in 1965, Habit Rouge’s woody, spicy fragrance enveloped with round vanilla became an olfactory symbol of French elegance.

Taking its inspiration from the bold intensity of bourbon, Habit Rouge Le Parfum opens with the rich tonalities of a rum accord, followed perfectly with Guerlain’s unique vanilla tincture that is made according to its own special in-house process. Set alongside patchouli, it’s this vanilla tincture that lends Habit Rouge’s signature its unparalleled depth.

A SQUARE, FACETED, STREAMLINED BOTTLE

Maintaining the same strong and sleek lines of its Guerlain heritage, Vétiver Le Parfum’s bottle takes on a bolder look with a darker green label that reflects the power and concentration of the bewitching fragrance.
With a nod to the world of watchmaking, the heavy matte cap features a guilloche pattern.
